What is a CSA?

CSA, or community supported agriculture, is a way to buy local, seasonal food directly from a farm. In exchange for subscribing to the season’s harvest, subscribers receive a weekly box of produce and become a member of the farm community.

Members have direct access to food grown using sustainable and organic methods, without synthetic pesticides or chemicals, and the chance to spend time on the farm out in nature, as well as to influence what is grown on the farm.

What’s in my share?

A Summer share includes 5 to 6 generously-sized, unique items from the farm each week.

This season, we’re growing 100 varieties of vegetables, fruits and herbs, and all will make an appearance at some point in your share.

The contents of your share vary with the season and will include the best produce from the farm field that week.

• garlic or shallots

• fresh bunches of basil or parsley

• cherry or heirloom tomatoes

• shishito or lunchbox snacking peppers

• Asian or Italian eggplants

• lettuce or salad mix

• specialty watermelons, cantaloupe or honeydew

• spaghetti or delicata squash

• colorful bell or specialty hot peppers

• cherry, heirloom or plum tomatoes

• scallions, onions, garlic or shallots

• fresh bunches of basil, parsley, cilantro, or dill

What makes us unique?

We focus on the nutritional density of our crops and on growing a wide diversity of specialty vegetables, herbs and flowers. We’re constantly trying new varieties to find ones that have the most flavor and the most beautiful appearance.

A lovely byproduct of nutritionally dense produce is stellar quality and phenomenal flavor.  Our specialty and heirloom varieties thrive in our mineral rich soil, develop mouthwatering flavors, and stay fresh longer.

Pricing

A Summer share includes 5 to 6 generously-sized, unique items from the farm each week for 10 weeks.

Shares are $280, payable in full or in two installments.

Vegetable CSA shares are still available and we will be preparing big and bountiful bags of veggies for another 5 weeks, all the way until October 19th.

Our vegetable share pricing has been prorated to reflect the remaining 5 weeks of the season.

Pickup

This year, we’ll be pre-packing some of your share items and offering you the options to select the rest of of your items from our market style stand.

If you want more produce than your share provides, you’ll be able to pre-order via our website or purchase additional items at the farmstand pickup.

Please note, we also accept SNAP payments for CSA shares, paid weekly at the time of pickup. If you’d like to apply for a CSA share to be paid partially or in full using SNAP, please send us an email.
